Ealing Phoenicians produced another win last weekend after they took down the Kennington Generals 36-28 on Sunday 10th April 2016.

Phoenicians opened up the game very quickly with the help of Troy Samuel who moved the ball well to help A.Philips and Ruben Monteiro attack the basket and rack up 6 points each to give their team a 12-2 cushion going into the second quarter.
Ealing’s Point Guard, Gracjan Skorzewski, then stepped up and added a solid 7 points to the game, including an impressive three to sustain his team’s lead of 22-12 by half time.

The third quarter saw Kennington struggle to make their free throws, but team mate Matthew Gebrehewit made up for this by knocking down threes to outscore the Phoenicians and shrink the gap to 32-24.

The final minutes of the game proved exciting as Ealing’s Michael Omoderic and Kennington’s Abdul Malik hit back to back threes, but in the end, Ealing swooped away with the win.

Ealing’s MVP, Troy Samuels, said, “We worked well together which is always important because you win games as a team. We like playing in the CBL because the competition pushes us to get better. We’re looking forward to the play-offs and finishing the season strong.”
