Following on from an action-packed 2016/16 season, applications for places in the upcoming new CBL season have been flooding in all summer from teams eager to be a part of London’s biggest grassroots basketball league.
While a solid foundation of returnees are back to compete for the 2016/2017 crown, the league welcomes a number of new clubs into the CBL, underpinning the league’s development ethos of continuous community growth.
Chiswick Gators, Torriano Tigers, MTS (Make Time Sports), East Herts Royals, Camden Knights, Chatsworth Chargers and the Right Development Foundation are all in final stage preparations for their first foray into CBL competitions at the end of October, joining a wide array of returning clubs that includes: London Pulse, Greenwich Admirals, A2S, Tower Hamlets Ravens, Westside, Gintaras, Ealing Phoenicians, Kennington Generals, Hackney Kings, Harrow Blackhawks, Barnet East Giants, Brent Ballers, Hackney Jedis, North West Jaz, Southwark Legends, Wandsworth Rams, Haringey Sixers, COHNEL Warriors, Red Ravens and the Wandsworth Wolves.
With less than a month to go before the new season tips off on 30th October, just 6 available places remain across all divisions. Teams who have yet to register for the season ahead are being urged to do so imminently before all the places are gone, by filling out the team registration form following the link below:
