Cruz Academy secured their first win of the new campaign against Haringey Tigers, 34-24 in U14 D-League Action.
It was the Tigers who came out in the first quarter as the aggressors behind Eden Brown’s hot shooting, which pushed Haringey up by 2 a the end of the first.
However, Cruz came firing back with a dominant second quarter, outscoring the Tigers 9-2 in the quarter, spearheaded by Jacy Papadoupoulos and the consistent scoring from Duo Kritikos.
Kritikos would go on to pour in 15 points in the game as Cruz pulled away for the 10 point win.
