Recap
K&C Knights (4-3) match up against London Pulse (3-4) in the first round of the U12 Western Conference playoffs.
In their only match up of the regular season, Knights prevailed 19-10 and will look to repeat that win, now the stakes have been raised. Omari Pond-McKenzie (4.2ppg) has been the Knights most consistent player this season, however their strength has been in balance and depth with 6 players all scoring within 1ppg of each other.
London Pulse have been competitive all season behind the balanced attack of Oliver Ostik (5.8ppg) and Tejonah Sharin (5.5ppg). Β Well supported and well coached, the Pulse will certainly be ‘up’ for the challenge of the playoffs.
CBL INSIDER:Β “No clear winner in this one. Β Both teams are evenly matched and so it will come down to who shows up ready to play on the day. Head coach Josh Cole, for the Knights, is one of the best in the league and vastly experienced in playoff situations and so look for that to push K&C past the Pulse and into the next round. Β However, this is far from a foregone conclusion – this one will be close, but the slight edge goes to K&C”
