Renowned as the team to beat all season long, Activities4U took down the Enfield Kings 59-41 to secure that all important place in this year’s CBL u25 Playoff Final 2016.

There’s never a dull moment watching A4U play and Alex Sappa went straight to work with a slam dunk to send shivers though Enfield, reminding them all that they had come to handle business.

Enfield heard them loud and clear and matched their style of play with Lazaros Plepi taking care of the ball to convert boards into easy buckets. The first quarter saw Plepi and Sappa trade baskets which kept the game close enough for both teams to tie 10-10 going into the second period.

As if offended by the lack of margin, A4U’s Juan Manning took it upon himself to be the difference and banked 9 points including a three that boosted not only his team’s confidence, but also their score as he pushed A4U out to lead 33-16 by the end of the half.

Credit to them, Enfield Kings refused to back down and a fantastic performance from Slyvester Ologbengsa saw him score all of his team’s 9 points within the third term to keep Enfield in the game.

However, A4U came charged up and exploded in the fourth to hurt Enfield from all angles. With Juan still firing threes, Khalid Ibrahim soon found his rhythm and paced past his opponents to net 8 points with ease. Edward Grant and Pedro Hounam produced 4 points each before another slam dunk from Sappa sealed the deal and rewarded A4U their ticket to the CBL Playoff Final.
