Brent continued their fine run of form with a hard-fought win against Access2Sports in the U18 Division with both Kunal Magar (13) and Leon Prapashtica (12) finishing in double digits to give the West Londoners the 45-39 edge on Sunday 4th December 2016.
The game was tight at first, but Magar and Prapashtica worked well together finding the bottom of the net in quick succession to secure an early lead for Brent who went in 32-22 by the end of the half.
A2S’s Sammie Said pulled out all the stops in trying to bring the North Londoners back into the game, racking up an impressive 20 points of his own in an effort to overcome Brent.
However, West was proved best on this day as Brent continued their strong play through till the end, and another 9 points from Jordan Khanu ensured they took home the win.
