Kensington and Chelsea Knights returned to the new season with a bang after a fantastic team performance, and standout effort from Camilo Ramirez, saw them overcome the Camden Knights 16-3 on Sunday 27th November 2016.

With a display of great ball handling skills from Amani Kassayet and solid defense from Beau Brown, Kensington and Chelsea stormed into the lead to finish half time with an 8 point margin (10-2).

Newcomers, Camden Knights, proved to be a tough team to crack with promising play from their talented trio of Maya Grkovic, Lulu Healy and Mila Vasic who all played well to keep their team focused throughout.

However, Kensington and Chelsea where relentless and on a mission in their first game of the new season and a timely pair of back to back buckets from Ramirez, who banked 6 of his team’s 16 points, K&C secured the game to win 16-3 overall.

Game MVP, Camilo Ramirez, said, “Today’s win was down to great communication and a team effort from everyone. We’ve trained hard over the summer and so it was great to see our hard work pay off in game time.”
