Recap
Hackney Jedi’s 12U Division 1 team took a strong step forward in solidifying their top 4 position in the CBL’s 12 and under toughest competition with a galvanising team display against the rapidly improving Crouch End Tigers.
Crouch End are new to the CBL but have quickly settled into London’s biggest grassroots league, showing they can compete with anyone in the league on their day and operate off of a strong foundation of good coaching, solid club infrastructure and always supportive parents.
Never to be outdone themselves, the Jedi’s continue their upward club trajectory behind the tireless work of the club management committee, dedicated parents and fully-committed coaches whose passion to ‘give back’ continues to make the Jedi’s such a positive place to play in the heart of East London.
It was the Jedi’s who were successful in this match up of two great community clubs, behind the dizzying ball-handling skills and shot-making ability of KJ Elliot-Parris (8 points, 6 steals, 3 assists), who has been making a name for himself all season. Β A young point guard in the making, without doubt.
