A scintillating showcase of athletic talent was on full display in this exciting matchup between the two new U25 division newcomers, London Hoopstars and the COHENEL Warriors. Both teams feature players who are all considerably under the age threshold, but are all ‘playing up’ in order to test themselves against older competition within the division – however this game pitted the two young teams (average age of 18) against each other for the first time this season and it turned out to be one of the most evenly matched games of the season.
The Warriors are arguably the most organised, well-coached team in the CBL with former GB International coach Jay Williams at the helm, the North London based academy play with poise and discipline, which has led to 4 quality wins in the mens U25 division this season.
