London Thunder (5-1) continued to put pressure on division leaders Baltic Stars (5-0) in the final stretch of games before heading into the post-season, with a convincing win over Gintaras BC in the U12 Eastern Conference.
The Thunder are newcomers to the CBL this season and have been impressive. Well coached and positive, the young South Londoner’s are disciplined and talented and have steadily improved with each performance this season.
The Thunder were led by Simeon Iwowo and Malachi Gordon, who both set the pace with 8 points apiece, while Gintaras were led by young Gustas Peciulis (who is still eligible to play U10 basketball) who scored a game-high 9 points, personal.
