Sunday 20th November 2016 saw the K&C Knights launch into the new CBL campaign in full force with an emphatic win against their West London rivals, Brent Ballers, in the Under 14 boys division.  The Knights missed out on the CBL crown last season, but return the core of their team who are now a year older, more experienced and look like they are ready to make a serious push for the U14 title this season.

K&C were led by their captain, Jon Gjorllaku, who picked up where he left off last season in MVP-form with a well-rounded display, capped off with a game high 13 point personal tally.  Gjorllaku was joined by Atherto Chiapparoul who dropped 13 points of his own, to form a dynamic duo that was just too much for Brent to handle in their first game of the season.

Knights legendary coach Josh Cole was happy with the win, but took time to pay respects to the competition: “The boys have worked hard over the summer and have been looking forward to the new season to see what they can do this year, building on all they learnt last season.  It’s a nice win for them, but they can’t get too complacent as it’s a long under 14 season this year, and I know Brent Ballers will learn from this game and come back even stronger the next time around”.
