London Pulse’s Alexis Felekis had a phenomenal game with a near double double of 8 points and 9 rebounds, plus 4 assists to beat the Ealing Phoenicians 20-12 on Sunday 10th April 2016.
The battle of the West took place at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre and the first quarter saw Pulse come out hot with a team effort from Yannick Ruitenbeek and Mahadale Gardher who attacked the basket to put Pulse up 9-2.

The reverse happened in the second period as Phoenicians’ Michael Omidire and Patrick Basto locked down London Pulse to limit them to 2 points overall. Both players got to the basket, and with the help of team mate Arvind Durgh, Phoenicians managed to shrink the gap to 2 points (11-9) going into the half.

Knowing that the Phoenicians were on the come up, Felekis took control and remained composed, enabling him to score all of his team’s 6 points in the fourth quarter, to help Pulse close out the game with an 8 point lead.

Game MVP, Felekis, said, “That game was a lot of fun and I think I really helped to move the ball around. It’s important that we always work as a team and today’s result is proof that team work is key!”
