All-rounded player, Alonas Peciulis, is proving to be one to watch as he led his team to another victory last Sunday, helping Gintaras triumph 33-25 over London United on Sunday 11th December 2016.
Gintaras dominated the first half, as Peciulis (7) and Nojus Jampolskis (6) hit back to back threes, securing a 13point cushion to help their team steal the lead 21-8.
Despite controlling the game, Gintaras struggled to hold down London United’s Ruben Monteiro who proved to be a beast on both the offensive and defensive end, finishing as the top scorer with 15 of his team’s 25 points.
Monteiro had a brilliant game, and with help from team mates’ ,Patrick Basto (6) and Max Jones (3), the trio kept the game close and exciting throughout.
But Peciulis went to work right until the final quarter, seeing his team through another successful week.
